2025 Project Year Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility application results have been announced.
The application results for the 2025 Project Year (2025-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000307960) Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility application results have been announced.
Evaluation Method of Applications
2025 Project Year Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility lists were created by ranking the students among themselves within each Faculties/Schools/Institutes according to the Erasmus+ General Total Points calculated by taking 50% of their Foreign Language Grade and 50% of the Grade Point Average (GPA) of the students who applied for Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility. For the 2025 project year, the number of grant quotas allocated to us by the Turkish National Agency is 27, and varies from the estimated number of announced quotas. Of the quota, 80% is allocated to faculties and 20% to institutes and schools. During the evaluation of the applications, to ensure fair, transparent and equal distribution, the total quota was determined by taking into account the number of programs of the faculty/institute/school, and the total quotas determined for the relevant units were distributed within the faculty/institute/school itself, taking into account the number of Turkish and English departments.
Erasmus+ Total Score must be at least 60 points in order to be successful in the Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility. Students with an Erasmus+ Total Score below 60 are considered as failed.
Students who are on the Main List should follow the process below:
The students on the Main List are required to notify the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation Office by e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) in a written form whether they will benefit from the program or not between 17.05.2025 – 23.05.2025
In the case of those who waive their rights among the students on the Main List, they must fill out a Release Form by 23.05.2025 and submit it to the International Exchange and Cooperation Office by hand or via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr). (Click here for the Release Form.)
Students on the Main list who do not notify whether they will benefit from mobility until 23.05.2025 will be deemed to have waived their rights and -10 points will be deducted from the Erasmus+ total success grade in the next Erasmus+ Mobility applications unless they show a force majeure.
Attention: Grants for the 2025 Contract Period have not yet been allocated to universities by the Turkish National Agency. Whether you will receive a grant or the amount of your grant will be finalized once the grant allocation process by the Turkish National Agency to our university is completed. Due to the possibility of changes in the published lists based on the amount of grant allocated, students on the Main List are required to sign a Letter of Convenant. Students must submit their signed Letter of Convenant by 23.05.2025. (Click here for the Letter of Convenant template.) Students who are on the Backup List should follow the process below:
Students who are on the backup list if they wish to, can participate in Erasmus+ Mobility without grant in accordance with the university quotas. Students who wish to participate in the mobility without grant are required to submit their Without Grant Participation Petition via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) to the International Exchange and Cooperation Office by 23.05.2025. (Click here for the Petition Without Grant Participation).
In the case of those who waive their rights among the students on the main list, the candidate from the backup list who is studying in the same Faculty / School / Institute and who has got the highest score could attend the mobility. If there is no student from the relevant faculty, a student will be selected in the backup list according to the highest score.
Even if the student on the Backup List starts his/her mobility without the grant, in the case of withdrawal from the student on the main list, the student without a grant could continue his/her mobility with the grant when they are next on the list.
Without grant participation petition is for those who want to participate in the mobility even if they are not in line for grant participation. If the applicant submits a grant application and declines to participate in the mobility without a compelling reason, -10 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus application.
Note: You can carry out your Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility until 31/07/2027. Students who have graduated must complete their mobility within 12 months after graduation. Otherwise, their mobility will be considered invalid.
Orientation Program
An Orientation Program will be organized for students who are eligible for Erasmus Mobility. A detailed information about the mobility process will be given in the orientation program. It is compulsory for all students who are on the Main List and those who are on the Backup List that want to participate in the mobility without a grant to attend the Erasmus Orientation Program. Students who do not attend the program without a force majeure reason will be deducted -5 points from their next Erasmus application. Details about the Orientation Program will be shared with the students later.
Students are responsible for checking their e-mails frequently, following all announcements published by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and keeping in touch with the coordinatorship. Otherwise, the student is responsible for any problems that may occur (for example, not checking his/her e-mail and missing the application date, not reading the announcements and not being informed about any developments, etc.).
Students who have objections to the application results can send their objection petitions via e-mail (erasmus@gelisim.edu.tr) until 23.05.2025at 17.30. Appeal petitions sent after the specified date will not be accepted and the petitions must be signed. Positive or negative feedback will be made after the petitions are evaluated.
