[[ACCORDION]]What is Free Mover Program?
Free Mover Program is a program where students study as a Free Mover student (guest student) for one semester or one academic year with their own means (by paying the tuition fee both to our University and to their home university), except for educational mobility programs with grant support, like Erasmus+.
Who Can Apply?
Students studying associate, undergraduate or graduate studies at universities abroad, as well as students studying associate, undergraduate or graduate studies at our University can benefit from the Free Mover Program.
Admission Conditions:

The tuition fee for this program is 500 USD for one semester. (When making an international money transfer, there may be a deduction in the amount received by us, please pay with this deduction in mind.)
Students wishing to take part in the free mover program at our university as a free mover student must meet the following application conditions:
1) Being a registered student in any foreign university
2) Getting confirmation from the home university
3) Having at least a B1 level English certificate. (For the Turkish department document proving that the student knows Turkish with a Certificate)
Application and Acceptance:
For the Application, the student should contact International Exchange and Cooperation Office (IECO) via the following e-mail address: udio-k@gelisim.edu.tr
Deadline for sending application form to Spring Semester: until December 31.
Deadline for sending application form regarding to Fall Semester : until July 31.
The student who would like to participate in Free Mover Program at Istanbul Gelisim University should send the following documents to the above-mentioned email address:

Payment receipt for the Free Mover Program
If you send an e-mail to udio-k@gelisim.edu.tr stating that you would to apply for the Free Mover Program, you will be provided with detailed information about the application process.
It is the responsibility of the student to follow up on all these processes.
*The students afford all their own expenses including accommodation, transportation, etc.

Note |
There is no requirement for a bilateral cooperation agreement for mobilities under the Free Mover Program. |
For outgoing students from our university under the Free Mover Program, the host university must be recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). |
The time spent by the student under the Free Mover Program is considered part of their study period. |
The course load for a Free Mover Program student is determined according to the relevant educational, instructional, and examination regulations of the university where the student is enrolled. |
Regarding attendance, examinations, and performance evaluation, the rules and regulations of the host university apply to the Free Mover student. |
Students are responsible for fulfilling all financial obligations (such as tuition fees, contributions, etc.) to both our university and the host university. |
The academic processes (course selection, academic advising, etc.) of incoming and outgoing Free Mover students are carried out by the Free Mover Department/Program Coordinators designated by the relevant unit. |
Applications for incoming/outgoing students under the Free Mover Program are managed by the Free Mover Institutional Coordination Office within the International Relations Office. |
In the Free Mover Program, students are responsible for their own passport, visa, accommodation, travel expenses, and travel/health insurance, as well as following up on these processes. |
Students do not receive a diploma or degree under the Free Mover Program. Upon completion of their studies, the transcript showing the courses taken under the Free Mover Program is issued by the relevant unit, and a certificate of participation is provided by the Free Mover Institutional Coordination Office. |
