On April 9, 2025, Istanbul Gelisim University had the pleasure of hosting students and academics from one of Malaysia's leading universities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Organized by the Directorate of International Exchange and Cooperation, this meaningful visit opened doors to both cultural exchange and potential academic collaboration.

On 8 April 2025, IECO specialist Ece Nur Yüksel, representing the International Exchange and Cooperation Coordination Office, participated in the 10th EURIE Eurasian Higher Education Summit held at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center.

On March 21, 2025, an orientation meeting was held for the staff who were qualified to participate in the mobility after the announcement of the results for the 2022 Project Year Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility, which of its results were announced on March 6, 2025.

Istanbul Gelisim University continues to expand its international academic collaborations. In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with New Uzbekistan University on March 19, 2025, to develop cooperation in academic, scientific, and cultural fields.

On March 10, 2025, a briefing meeting was held for our partner universities regarding the Research Project Planning and Proposal Writing Blended Intensive Program (BIP). The meeting was attended by Asst. Prof. Sibel Zengin, Assistant Coordinator of BAP-K, Asst. Prof. Şükran Kahveci, Erasmus+ Coordinator of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Alisa Usubova, Coordinator of IECO, and Pınar Aleyna Doğan, Specialist at IECO.

Istanbul Gelisim University International Exchange and Cooperation Office for the 2025-2026 academic year, students who want to apply for Erasmus+ Study and Internship Mobility announcements from the 2025 project will be able to make their applications via TURNA PORTAL (turnaportal.ua.gov.tr) system between 19 February-10 March 2025. Istanbul Gelisim University has started to receive Erasmus+ Student Mobility applications for the 2025 Contract Period. Applications will be received online via TURNA Portal.

The orientation program for international students coming to our university with study mobility within the scope of Erasmus+ and Global Exchange Programs was held on 17 February 2025 with the intense interest of our students and the contributions of our IGU Buddy students.

In February 2025, Istanbul Gelisim University and Batangas State University in the Philippines signed a bilateral cooperation agreement that paves the way for academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation.

On 31.01.2025, from Invertis University, SRM University AP, and Aditya University respectively, the Dean in charge of International Relations, Dr. Raiju Ch. V. Voleti, the Head of the International Relations Office, Sandeep Kumar Samala, and the Dean in charge of International Relations, Subrahmanya Ranjit Pasupuleti visited our university.

On January 29,2025 Istanbul Gelisim University held potential collaboration discussions with Stage Malta as part of its vision to provide international internship opportunities for its students under the Erasmus+ program. IECO Assistant Specialist Mehmet Emir Çetinberk from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and Samuel Spaho from Stage Malta participated in the online meeting.
