The collaboration, which was initiated at the NAFSA 2025 fair, where our university was represented by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Maraşlı and IECO Coordinator Alisa Usubova, has been formalized with the signing of a new Erasmus+ agreement with Paris Catholic University. This agreement will make student and staff exchanges possible, contributing significantly to our internationalization efforts.

Founded in 1875 by Maurice Le Sage d'Hauteroche d'Hulst on the site of a former Carmelite monastery, the Catholic University of Paris is a prestigious private higher education institution operating in Paris. Carrying on the academic heritage of medieval liberal arts colleges and the Sorbonne, the university offers degrees in theology, philosophy, canon law, humanities and social sciences, economics, and education.

The signed Erasmus+ agreement covers student mobility, staff teaching and training mobilities in the departments of Economics and Finance, Political Science and International Relations, and English Language and Literature.

Thanks to this collaboration, the number of partner universities in France has increased to five, bringing our university one step closer to its goal of expanding its global academic network.
