Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility Call for Applications for 2023 Project



Within the scope of the 2023 Project (Project No: 2023-1-TR01-KA171-HED-000164429), applications are now open for Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility for academic staff.

Applications will be accepted via the Turkish National Agency Turna Portal between 18 July 2026 – 20 July 2026.


IMPORTANT NOTICE:

THE MOBILITY WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 27–31 JULY 2026. APPLICANTS MUST ENSURE THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY VISA-RELATED ISSUES THAT MAY PREVENT THEM FROM TRAVELLING DURING THE MOBILITY PERIOD.

Who Can Apply?

Academic staff members who wish to participate in the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility must:
  • Be actively employed at Istanbul Gelisim University on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Be carrying out their duties at Istanbul Gelisim University during the application period.
  • There is no tenure requirement for academic staff employed by the university. Contracted academic staff with a valid employment agreement with Istanbul Gelisim University are also eligible to apply.
  • Academic staff whose official appointment belongs to another institution but who are contractually employed and actively working at Istanbul Gelisim University must apply through Istanbul Gelisim University rather than their home institution.

How to Apply?

Applications must be submitted online through the Turna Portal:

Applicants are required to upload the following documents during the application:
  • Foreign Language Certificate
  • Disability Report (if applicable)
  • Official document proving martyr/veteran status or being a first-degree relative of a martyr/veteran (if applicable)
  • Official document proving involvement in Artificial Intelligence-related activities within the framework of the 2021–2025 National Artificial Intelligence Strategy prepared by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Digital Transformation Office (if applicable)
  • Official document proving that the applicant or a first-degree relative received disaster assistance from AFAD (if applicable)

Zero-Grant Participation
Applicants placed on the reserve list may participate in the mobility without Erasmus+ funding, subject to the approval of the Rectorate and provided that the quota specified in the inter-institutional agreement between Istanbul Gelisim University and the host institution allows additional participants.

Inclusion Support (Special Needs Support)
The Erasmus+ Programme encourages the participation of individuals with special needs.
Participants whose physical, mental, or health conditions create additional financial needs may be eligible for additional financial support.
Once a participant requiring inclusion support has been selected, Istanbul Gelisim University may request additional funding from the Turkish National Agency based on the participant's estimated extra costs.
Requests for additional inclusion support must be submitted during the project implementation period and no later than 60 days before the end date of the project agreement.
Additional funding cannot be requested after the mobility activity has been completed.
